Dubai World Central’s strategic location and integration with the Al Maktoum International Airport are fast making the development an excellent venue for international exhibitions and events. With full conference facilities at the Dubai World Central HQ building, completed passenger terminal and airside chalets, DWC is set to host some of the region’s leading aviation events. In 2013, DWC will welcome over 980 exhibitors from 50 countries and more than 1,450 international and regional media. Al Maktoum International Airport will be the new and permanent home of the Dubai Airshow.

The aerotropolis is also providing a critical backdrop to Dubai’s bid for the World Expo 2020. The proposed site for the World Expo 2020 is the Exhibition District at DWC (Dubai Trade Center – Jebel Ali), enabling exhibitors, trade delegates and visitors to benefit from DWC’s connectivity and accessibility.
